About our work

Egbe Oduniyi's work is centred around Yoruba oral literary mythology, both historical and philosophical. In addition to musical performances and teaching, Egbe Oduniyi collaborates with dancers and other artists from the Yoruba tradition, to create and perform new work within the tradition. We teach Yoruba music, percussion and song to the public (both adults and children) and work with dancers, teaching Yoruba dance, the dances of the Orishas - the Yoruba Gods. We collaborate with visiting artists from the African continent and the Diaspora.
